Carlo came to Sarasota with the intentions to fully integrate himself into all aspects of life in America and to create the opportunity to become a successful businessman. Carlo started at one of Sarasota’s most well know restaurants, Mediterrano, for 3 years. In 2000 he became General Manager of Café Epicure, another downtown Sarasota staple. Carlo worked hard for years managing and scheduling 30 employees, overseeing all buying and keeping up the exceptional reputation of the establishment. Hard work and meaningful results combined to create the opportunity for Carlo to yet again own his own business.
Cafe Americano opened up its doors in 2006. From finding a space, negotiating the lease, creating a business plan, designing the layout, creating the menu, buying all products etc. all business aspects were under his charge. Café Americano ran very successfully for 6 years. Carlo sold the business in 2012.
Carlo brings extensive knowledge of the restaurant industry, investment and international business to his real estate business in Sarasota.
